Oblivion Portals to Atoll of Immolation - World Events in Blackwood

World Events are open to everyone, events repeated in a specific place at a specific time, intended for more players at the same time. Completing a World Event can award you experience, gold, and higher tier gear, more about World Events.

Early experiments of Mehrunes Dagon, Oblivion Portals tear through the fabric of the planes as Dagon's cultists attempt to breach a pathway to Nirn. The forces that appear on the portal's outskirts represent a mere scouting expedition, while the true challenge lies inside the portal itself-within the Deadlands Atoll of Immolation. To complete an Oblivion Portal, you will need to find Mehrunes Dagon's general at the center-most island and defeat him, the Havocrel Duke of Storms.

Oblivion Portals are not marked on the map. They appear randomly throughout Blackwood and The Deadlands. When a portal opens, it will only remain in this state for a limited time. Once you enter the portal, however, you can stay within Atoll of Immolation until you complete your goal or choose to leave via wayshrine or by traveling to another player.

Zeechis told me that Deepscorn Hollow is said to be a smuggler's den on the coast. I should go there to investigate the rumors. It might be profitable.

Destroying What Remains - Bloodrun Cave Delve

Mim-Jasa, a priest of the Clutch of Nisswo, asked me to help perform last rites for the Shadowscales who were entombed in the cave long ago. Doing so will supposedly prevent a necromancer named Tumma-Maxath from using them for his own evil purposes.

I should enter Bloodrun Cave so I can help Mim-Jasa destroy the remains of the dead Shadowscales.

I found a note by the corpse of an Imperial. His dying wish was for his love to know the truth about what happened to him.

An Argonian named Hokatsei claims the nereid of the ruins of Vunalk, Sister of Pools, turned her brother, Deet-Loh, into a pig. She needs help to return to the ruins and break the spell over her brother.

I agreed to escort Hokatsei through the ruins of Vunalk to bathe her brother Deet-Loh in the nereid's waters. I should enter the ruins.

Peek-Ereel gave me a message from Governor Keshu's spymaster, Tee-Wan. Tee-Wan needs my help with a private and urgent matter.

I found a notice on the ground. It seeks explorers for an expedition into a newly discovered ruin. It may have belonged to the brother of someone named Mirri, based on the handwritten note at the bottom.

Mirri says she and her brother were betrayed by some cultists, led by someone named Xigira. I should find out more from her before we go inside the ruin.

The Daedric Prince, Nocturnal, tasked me with recovering a relic that was stolen from her shrine.

According to Nocturnal, Millona Brolus was in the shrine when the Shade Sickle was stolen. I should talk to her to see what she knows.

There is more than one bottle with a message, they are lying in different places on the border between the water and the beach.

I found a message written by a pirate of the Topal Bay in a bottle by the shore. It appears to be directions to buried treasure.

The clues in the pirate's note will lead me to where he buried his treasure.

The Rising Winds

A resident of the Stonewastes named Nuxul explained that his village was attacked by a warlord named Naxhosa who stole their supplies. Nuxul asked me to help him find the remaining Three Winds, famous Argonian protectors, and ask for their help.

Nuxul suggested that I start by speaking to the first WindElossi, the Sudden Gust. I should find her in a hut to the south.

Shalidor's Library Books are scattered throughout the world. These books are identified by their distinctive purple glow. Discovering these books will improve your Mages Guild rank and advance the associated skill line.

Theoretically, the Shalidor's Library Books assigned to a given Zone should be found within that area. Practically as the areas available to players expand, it starts to get mixed up and the specific Lore Book can be found in other parts of Tamriel as well.

There are 10 Shalidor's Library Books assigned to Blackwood. Some of them can also be found in other Zones. Each of the Lore Books has more than one probable spot where you can find it. Discovering them is necessary for Zone Completion.
