One way to adjust your profile view history is through your privacy settings. Follow these steps to turn this option on or off.
- Open your TikTok app (doesn’t matter if it’s iPhone or Android), then tap Profile in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar.
- Tap the hamburger menu icon (three parallel lines) in the top right corner.
- Tap Settings and privacy at the bottom of the popup menu.
- Tap Privacy, then scroll down to tap Profile views.
- Put the toggle option in the On or Off position—whichever you prefer.
How to turn TikTok profile view history on or off from notifications
You can also access this feature from your profile view notifications found on your profile page. Follow the steps below.
- Open your TikTok app, then tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the two little feet (previously an eye icon) in the top right corner. If you have recent profile views, this may instead appear as someone’s profile picture with a number next to it.
- From this Profile views page, tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- In the popup that appears, put the toggle option in the On or Off position—whichever you prefer.
This notifications area is where you’ll see the profile icons of each person who viewed your TikTok profile. You won’t be able to see private accounts or those who have the profile view history feature turned off, so you may not get the whole picture.
Does TikTok show who viewed your video?
Similarly, accounts with fewer than 5,000 followers and whose users are 16 years of age and older can also see who viewed their TikTok videos over the last seven days.

- Open your TikTok app, then tap Profile in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar.

- Tap Settings and privacy at the bottom of the popup menu.
- Tap Privacy, then scroll down to tap Post views.
- Make sure the toggle option is on the On or Off position—whichever you prefer.
Once you’ve turned this on, you can head to your videos and check your views. Tap on the video in your profile that you want to track. Then, tap the number of views in the bottom-left corner to see who has viewed that specific video.
If you have more than 5,000 followers, you won’t get to see everyone who views your videos. But you can still get a good idea by checking out who has liked or commented on your video, as well as who has used your video for stitches or duets.
