I have enjoyed my time with the Oil City Area School District. Overall, I am very impressed with their teachers and the rest of the faculty. They are wonderful role models. Some of my high school teachers have become my favorite people.

My time at Oil City High School has no doubt been interesting. There are many enjoyable parts to attending my school. I participate in many accelerated classes, and the teachers I have had have done an excellent job teaching their curriculum. I would say that the best experiences I have participated in would be the cross-country team and the school's musical. Both of these are proof of a strong teamwork dynamic that can be difficult to create in other scenarios. I am extremely lucky to be able to say that I was a part of these extracurriculars. Though, in all the good, some experiences are less than ideal. I think that it would be amazing if my school showed more support to the tennis, swimming, and cross-country teams. They are often overlooked. I also wish that we would be able to reopen our library for people to borrow books from. We do not have a librarian at the moment, and the library is used for study hall. I would love to be able to check out books and sit in a quiet library.

The educators are very supportive, and the school is kept very clean. However, some of the management staff such as the principles are disconnected from the students and lack knowledge of general student life.
